Guardrail System may be used in Fall Prevention applications ONLY. Fall Prevention Systems are placed around the leading edges of any and all fall hazards to prevent a worker from going over an edge, and may be used in substitute of Fall Protection or safety netting systems. Installation requirements for Guardrail System set forth in product instruction manual MUST be adhered to. Personal Fall Arrest, Work Positioning, Climbing, Rescue, and any other systems must NEVER be connected to Fall Prevention Systems.

Description
Meets or exceeds all OSHA 1910 General Industry Standards and OSHA 1926 Subpart M Construction Standard.
ALWAYS assemble and use Guardrail System according to instructions provided with equipment by the manufacturer.

Guardrail & 4-way Baseplate – Powder Coated Steel
Knuckle & 2-way Baseplates – Galvanized Steel

MAXIMUM permitted roof pitch is 1/12 (5º).Toeboards must be 2” x 4” construction grade lumber. Baseplates must be at least 24” from the edge of any opening or leading edge hazard.
An outrigger is a guardrail installed perpendicular to a continuous run. ALWAYS use outriggers at BOTH ends of any interruption in a Guardrail System, and at BOTH ends of a continuous Guardrail System. There is no limit on the maximum length of a continuous Guardrail System.
